Thanks to the guys over at mashable for bringing us news of The Weather Channel's latest aquisitions. Lake Rentals and Coast Rentals are the latest to be added to the collection - a collection currently fronted by their forGetaway website.

I've seen this mentioned on a few of the blogs and forums I regularly visit and think it's worth a mention.

You can now place a free advert with the Sunday Time for your holiday rental. Take a look at https://www.advertising.newsint.co.uk/webAdvertising/private/adManager and choose Travel from the drop-down. You get 3 lines in the "Travel" supplement of the newspaper and one week within their online "Find a Holiday" section (this also includes one photo).

Would be interesting to see what kind of response people are achieving with this. There also seem to be a few options that allow advertising through their partnership with www.holiday-rentals.co.uk

Our recently launched website for short term accommodation in Edinburgh is now in full swing.
